Originating in a batch of seedlings of well-known variety Goblin (Kobold), Gaillardia Summers Kiss is an exciting colour break in the genus, offering large flowers that open pink-orange and fade to melon, giving a peach-apricot overall effect. Like its parent, it has a compact, low-growing and upright habit.
Gaillardia Summers Kiss will make an excellent plant for the border or for container planting, providing a bright display from mid-summer into autumn.
Already popular in the United States, Gaillardia Summers Kiss should be an exciting addition for anyone already growing Gaillardia Goblin - or any other variety. It makes an excellent impulse plant for later in the season in pot sizes from 11cm to 2 litres.
