Had a look at the PFE portfolio and been tempted? Read on to find out how you can get these plants…

PFE does not sell any plants

PFE acts purely as an agent for the rights to grow the plants that form the PFE portfolio. PFE is not affiliated to any nursery and retains only a small growing facility for the purposes of assessing new varieties and distributing propagating stock to potential licensees. Consequently, PFE does not offer for sale any of the plants that we represent.

Journalists: let us help you get these new plants – even before they are launched!

We are keen for garden writers, broadcasters and lecturers to get to know the plants in our portfolio. There is no better way to achieve this than for you to try a sample plant in your own garden.

To that end, PFE is happy to supply sample plants of the varieties that comprise our portfolio free of charge (including delivery within Europe) to gardening communicators. If you would like to be involved, please contact us. Please note that we usually require some proof of bona fides. We may also ask you to sign an embargo agreement in the case of a variety that has not yet been publicly launched, so that information is withheld until the plant is available to gardeners.

Of course, PFE is always happy to supply as much information about the plant as you might need. We have an extensive library of digital images of the plants. We can even put you in contact with the breeder of the plant (subject to their agreement) if you would like to interview them for an article or broadcast. If you have any questions at all, then please do not hesitate to ask us!

Gardeners: ask for new varieties at your local garden centre or nursery

If there is a plant that you wish to purchase for your garden, then ask at your local garden centre or nursery. Most of the plants in the PFE portfolio are either available now or will be launched in the next year or so. If your favourite garden centre experiences difficulty in obtaining any of the plants, please ask them to contact PFE, and we will happily direct them to their nearest wholesale supplier.

If you still have difficulty locating the plant that you require, please send us an e-mail and we will try to help.
