This plant performed very well at the Raker site during the 2011 Michigan Garden Plant Tour. I have a photo taken Aug 22 if you'd like to see it.

hello John
It is still a little early to find Nemesia Amelie in garden centres - expect the first plants to be available at Easter. It is only in centres for a period of a few weeks in spring, as that is the optimum time to plant it.
The main wholesale grower in the UK is Farplants, and they supply to all the major garden centres, in particular the Garden Centre Group (formerly Wyevale), B&Q as well as other chains and independents. I suggest you talk to the local branch of these chains - if you need more help, I can put you in touch with the relevant person at Farplants who can tell you which centres near you will be supplied with Amelie.
Best wishes
Graham

hi Mark.
Plant Variety Rights cover the propagation, sale, distribution and marketing of plants and propagating material of the variety to which they apply. So there is nothing to stop you taking photographs of a specimen, displaying the photos and selling them, either online or in the real world.
Of course, if any of your clients were to use the images in the course of promoting illegal sale or distribution of the plant, that would be an illegal act. However, my understanding of the law is that they would be responsible for that, not you.
As a service to your customers, it might be helpful for you to highlight plant varieties that you sell photos of to which Plant Variety Rights apply. If there is any way I can help you do this, please email me.

Hi,

I've not directly come across the concept of Plant Variety Rights before. Am I ok to publish and sell photos of this plant on my website?

Cheers,
 Mark

Hi Mike - I think you must be referring to my photo on the "About PFE" page. Well, naturally they are "thought bubbles" as all the ideas for marketing and promoting plants come to my head!

Or they may just be lichen on the pillar behind me. The photo was taken during my honeymoon with Hels in Sicily.
